Carrollton
The city of Carrollton has been named to America's 2006 Top 100 Places to Live for 2006 by Relocate America. Also recently named a national "Kid Friendly City," "Tree City USA" and Texas' Safest City, Carrollton is home to a quality property tax "rich" school district. A highly educated diverse population lives here and enjoys the largest park system per capita in the Metroplex.
African Americans are spread out in Carrollton however most live in the northern half of the city north of the N President Gerogre Bush Turnpike. The largest concentration are in the apartment complexes alonf Frankford rd and Josy Lane where the median houshold income is $45,000, and the median rent is $864 a month.
