Southern Black Dallas
Southern Dallas is usually considered the area south of the Trinity River, Downtown, and I-30. A large majority of Southern Dallas is Black and Hispanic. The black neighborhoods consist of old established communities of the inner city to the more sprawling communities to the edges of the city. The largest concentration of African Americans in North Texas lives in this area.
